God
We believe in the one true and living God - the Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer and Ruler of all things. He is infinite, eternal, unchangeable, and has revealed Himself to us as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is the concept of the Trinity. He created mankind in His image and endowed us with free will.

Sin
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Sin is anything we do - by thought, word or action - that is contrary to God's created order and perfect will for our lives. The result of any sin is separation from God and the effect of sin in our lives renders us helpless to overcome it by our own power.

Salvation
The solution to our separation from God is the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ who is "the way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6). "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Salvation is by grace and through faith alone in the saving work of Jesus upon the cross, and there is nothing we can do of our own strength to earn it. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). As we acknowledge and personally accept that we are sinners incapable of our own redemption, and proclaim faith in the person and work of Jesus, we enter into a right relationship with God.

Jesus
Jesus Christ is the eternally begotten Son of God, conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit through the Virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man. "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (1Timothy 1:15) and His death upon the cross and bodily resurrection from the dead secured salvation and eternal life for all those who put their trust in Him. He took the penalty of our sin upon Himself so that through faith, we might be restored to a right relationship with God.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and proceeds from the Father and the Son. He inhabits us upon the confession of our faith. He convicts us of our sin, leads us into all truth, reveals God's will for our lives and empowers us for ministry.

Scripture
We believe the Bible (both the Old and New Testament) to be the Word of God and to contain all things necessary to salvation. It is divinely inspired and authoritative. We believe that "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). It is the revelation to us of God's nature and character and is a means by which He communicates His love and His power for our lives.

The Church
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ on earth whose purpose is to glorify God and to bring others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is a community of sinners seeking the redemptive and transforming love of God and is where the pure Word of God is preached and the sacraments are faithfully administered.
